Nusa Lembongan Island
Nusa Lembongan is one of three neighbouring islands of Bali, approximately 12 miles from south eastern coast of Bali and 20 miles from Lombok. The other two (2) islands are Nusa Penida being the bigger and Nusa Ceningan being the smaller.


World Tourism Day will be celebrated in Bali
The World Tourism Day has been annually celebrated on September 27th since 1980. This year, Indonesia is proud to celebrate the day in a form of special events, under the title called Bali Bike Fest 2006. This festivity is planned to spin on September 16th " 17th, 2006 in Bali, bringing along a main theme: Bali Bike Fest 2006 " Peace Through Tourism.


Bali voted as The World`s Best Resort Island
Travel + Leisure Magazine?s 11th Annual World?s Best Awards 2006 voted Bali as the Best Island Resort in the World and in Asia. Deputy Indonesian Ambassador to the US Andri Hadi and Acting Consul General in New York Harbangan Napitupulu received the citation here on Thursday.


Dutch offered Visa On Arrival (VOA)
The Visa On Arrival (VOA) is valid for a minimum period of seven (7) days and a maximum period of thirty (30) days. The costs involved are US$ 10 for a seven day and US$ 25 for a thirty day visa. The visa can not be exchanged for another legal residency and can not be extended. For a stay of more than thirty days you should request your visa at the Indonesian embassy in The Hague or in your country of residence as before.

On November 29, 2005, in the Ball Room of Hyatt Aryaduta Hotel, The Indonesian Minister of Culture and Tourism, H.E. Jero Wacik, accompanied by The Minister of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprise, H.E. Soegiharto, and the Director of Garuda Indonesia, Mr. Emirsyah Satar, launched a marketing breakthrough called the and#39;Love Baliand#39; program.


Galungan Festival Ceremony on Oct. 5, 2005
Galungan Day is celebrated every Budha Kliwon Dungulan or on Wednesday, 5 October 2005. Galungan Day has a meaning "Pawedalan Jagat" or the earth`s festival ceremony.
